Dr. Michael & Mrs. Pam Williams
Wisdom4Today is the ministry website
of Dr. Michael L. Williams
Dr. Michael Williams knows firsthand the importance of Biblical illiteracy in his role as a Pastor, Biblical Counselor, and Christian Educator. He founded Wisdom4Today in 2001 with the publishing of his first book as a Christian education and information resource to help people learn more from the Word of God.
Dr. Williams discovered the truth of salvation by reading the Bible. He trusted Christ along with his wife Pam in 1991 in Cleveland, Ohio. In 1995 he and Pam moved to Florida where he was called to full-time ministry a few years later while serving as a short term missionary at Gospel Light Baptist Missions, in Mangalore, India.
Upon returning from India, Dr. Williams left Florida and began seminary studies. After completing seminary studies he was ordained in 2002 at Heritage Baptist Bible Church in Walnut Grove, Minnesota. From 2002 to 2009 he was called to pastor a church in Minnesota and later a church in Ohio.
Dr. Williams moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico in 2009. There he and Pam saw the need for a Bible-believing disciple-making ministry. They returned to their home church, First Baptist Church of Jackson in Massillon, Ohio, where they were commissioned as missionaries to start a work in Albuquerque.
Upon the advice and counsel of the Pastors at First Baptist and a fellow missionary, the ministry was started in the Northeast Heights area of Albuquerque in March of 2010. By April 1, 2011 Selah Mountain Baptist Church was born along with its counseling and Christian education outreach, Selah Mountain Ministries.
Dr. Williams holds under-graduate through post graduate degrees in Christian Education; is a graduate of the US Army Academy of Health Sciences Nursing Program; Advanced Non-Commissioned Officer Academy; and holds a military teaching certification. He has taught pediatric nursing at the US Army Academy of Health Sciences and has also served as a Christian School Principal and teacher over the course of his career.
